Digital Era to Korean film industry came all of sudden. 5 film labs in Korea, 2 of them closed already. They give their statue, occupying for decades, to digital intermediate just in several years.
I had a good chance to visit 2 films labs, so I'd like to briefly introduce what they have been doing in the darkroom.

When original negative films arrive to the film lab, the films go to this analyzer for RGB color correction. The data from the analyzer are handed to a film printer.

The film printer prints positive films from the negative films and the data from the analyzer in the darkroom.
